A Secret Unveiled

so, i think it's about time to share my little secret that i didn't write about last blog. well here it goes....

i'm going to be a founder of a brand new sorority here at Creighton!!! :-D

yes i know. sorority?! rachel? those two things don't go together!!! but, actually, now they will. our sorority will be called Sigma Pi Theta. it is a sorority to spread Asian awareness and culture within the Omaha and Creighton community. we will also specialize in raising money for 3rd world countries. it is basically a social sorority, and we already have 15 members wanting to join. :-) that is a major feat considering that many people who wanted to join sororities are already a part of the pre-existing ones. it's going to take a lot of work to build up a sorority from scratch, but we already have the constitution written, and all we're doing is getting it approved right now. If we're approved, then we can start planning for recruitment i believe. Tam is doing a lot of the work, and i give her credit for doing it. It was her idea after all :-). but there will be 4 co-founders including me. Tam, Mary, Evelyn, and I. It should be really fun, and hopefully we'll get Sigma Pi Theta up and running by the time next year rolls around! Summer is going to be busy.

however, i am in the midst of finals week, and i actually have a chemistry final in an hour and a half. :-P i'm done studying of course (otherwise i wouldn't be writing on this thing)...but still, stressing out a tad bit. and tomorrow i have a Biology final at 8:00 in the morning. eh...i'm going to need to get a cup of coffee or something...so early!!! but after that, I will be done with school, and then my dad comes up to Omaha on thursday, and just a couple more days until i return home! May 5th, around 2:00 pm..so mark your calendars! hehe. just joking. But i'm definitely excited to come home for a good 3 and a half months! :-) well, i should get back to a short review of everything.
